Clouds

Clouds is an amazing piece of  structure and movement. It can be hung on the wall or suspended from the gallery ceiling. The structure consists of foam and cloth petals combined with elastic to create a free form, three-dimensional object. Like tumbling checkers, each segment creates the movement for the next segment, and so on. Amoebic as a whole, the structure’s organic shape hints at supporting mechanisms in the background, like clouds themselves bursting and roiling in the atmosphere.
